Aqueous Technologies Corporation, Kyzen Corporation, and Transition Automation all won the Global Technology Award presented at the Assembly Technology Exposition on September 27.
Aqueous has been awarded in the category of Cleaning Equipment for its innovative Self-cleaning Wash Tank. It has been designed with no horizontal floor surfaces, preventing solder paste from building up on the tank's floor.
Kyzen has been awarded in the category of Cleaning Materials for Micronox MX2188 Low COD Aqueous Precision Cleaner. It is an aqueous cleaning solution, designed to meet the latest challenges of lead-free, water-soluble fluxes while meeting RoHS and environmental constraints.
Transition Automation, on the other hand, has been awarded in the category of Assembly Tools for its Permalex Paste Manager Self-Cleaning Squeegee System. It is a system that offers an improvement to SMT printing lines.
The Global Technology Awards program is sponsored by Global SMT & Packaging Magazine, and is an annual celebration of product excellence in semiconductor packaging and electronics assembly.
