Aegis NPI/MES Software To Be Implemented at MPI

Aegis Industrial Software Corporation (Aegis) said it has been selected by Microboard Processing Incorporated (MPI) to install its integrated NPI/MES product suite. After employing Aegis's new product introduction and paperless documentation software for years, MPI will now implement the entire software system factory-wide. The deployment positions MPI to deliver full traceability and real-time production and quality visibility to their customers in the particularly demanding medical markets they serve, the company said.

To meet stringent medical manufacturing requirements, MPI requires a single system to manage all product, process, quality, test, machine and shop-floor materials data. Through a factory-wide deployment, Aegis's NPI/MES Software is said to provide the necessary traceability for surface mount lots and also for materials through hand assembly, rework changes, test, diagnostics, and out through system integration and box build.
