IMI Opens Japanese Office

Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. (IMI) has recently opened an office in Tokyo, Japan.
IMI Japan, Inc., located in the Kandaogawamachi, Chiyoda-Ku Prefecture in Tokyo, will serve as a marketing office to draw more outsourcing projects to the Philippines, where the company's main manufacturing site is located, IMI said.

In a statement, the electronics manufacturing service and original design manufacturing company said that its Japanese office would focus on working with Japan-based original equipment manufacturing firms and also serve as a front-end design and product development center.

Likewise, IMI Japan will be the "technical bridge" between Japanese customers and IMI's engineering centers in Singapore, China and the United States.
