Siemens Launched SMT Knowledge Sharing Campaign in India

Siemens Automation and Drives, Electronics Assembly Division announced they have partnered with Elcina and other leading India trade publication partners to equip personnel with manufacturing knowledge by organizing a seminar in August in Chennai, India.

In the last two years, Siplace has been extremely active in the India market, the company said. It has worked closely with industry experts to provide critical mission information to the engineering pool.

The panel of speakers ranged from different sides of the manufacturing industry; Kumar Kandaswami, Senior Director, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Private Limited and Professor and Dr. A. Subash Babu, Professor of Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay partnered with Dr. Matthias Frindt, the Head of Global Product Management in Siemens EA.
