LGInternational Signs Agreement to Acquire Malaysian Label Manufacturer

12 December 2007

LGInternational, manufacturer of advanced labeling solutions, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire United Colours, a Malaysian manufacturer of labels and die cut components. The acquisition is expected to be final within 60 days, subject to closing conditions.

United Colours was incorporated in 1995 and has established itself as a leading manufacturer of labels, gaskets, thermal pads, and insulators for electronics, controlled environments and consumer goods. The majority of United Colours customers are located in Malaysia and throughout other parts of Asia.

United Colours will join Wuxi, China as the second Asia facility operating under LGI’s international division of LGI Technology. “We feel very fortunate to be adding United Colours to further expand our presence in Asia,” states Mike Martin, President of LGInternational. “The depth of knowledge and capabilities of this operation will be particularly invaluable to our current and future customers in SE Asia.”
