ECWC11 Opens in Shanghai

ECWC11, a global convention sponsored by World Electronic Circuits Council (WECC) held every three years, kicked off in Shanghai on March 17 at the Everbright Convention and Exhibition International Hotel. The event will be held from March 17-19, 2008.
ECWC focuses on the latest PCB, assembly and packaging technology and provide an exchange platform for technology and management. Started in 1978, the past 10 world conventions were held in rotation in Europe, the US and Japan. After the efforts of the CPCA and the development of the electronic circuits industry in China, CPCA was authorized to be the host organization for ECWC11.
ECWC11 said it is bringing out the concept of “Environment and Innovative Technology Challenge” according to world development and industry focus. At the end of 2006, CPCA released a 'Call for Papers' globally and was supported by WECC members CPCA,EIPC, IPC, JPCA, KPCA, IPCA, HKPCA,CHINA and TPCA,CHINA. A total of 142 papers were received crossing every field of the industry.
It is estimated that there will be about 1200-1500 attendees at ECWC11. Just one day after the start of the event, the CPCA Show 2008 will hold its grand opening at the Pudong New Expo Center.
