NanoMarkets Releases White Paper About Organic Electronics Materials

26 March 2008

NanoMarkets, an industry analyst firm has just issued a new white paper titled Opportunities in Organic Electronics Markets. The paper was drawn from a previously issued NanoMarkets report, 'Organic Harvest: Opportunities in Organic Electronic Materials,' that analyzes and forecasts the prospects for organic electronics materials in the coming eight years.

'Opportunities in Organic Electronics Markets' describes and quantifies the opportunities that are opening up for the materials used in organic electronics. It shows how these opportunities are changing as printing comes to play a growing role in organic electronics in areas that include displays, lighting, radio-frequency ID tags, smart packaging, photovoltaics, textiles and medical products. The paper also discusses the materials-related challenges facing organic electronics, namely increasing performance and guarding against damage by water vapor and extreme temperatures. The materials considered in this report include small molecules, polymers and photoactive materials for OLEDs and photovoltaics. The paper is available on the NanoMarkets website.
