Aegis Software Unveils New Global Headquarters in the US

16 April 2008

Aegis Software Corp announces the opening of a new Global Headquarters in Horsham, Pennsylvania, outside Philadelphia. According to the company, the new offices will meet Aegis’ growing workforce demands and provide a unique training environment for the company’s rapidly expanding customer base.

Featured in the new headquarters is the company’s interactive Training Center. This facility offers customers a hands-on approach using an actual conveyorized production line, test and quality cell, and a complete hand assembly line. These elements surround the trainee stations and are fully equipped with Aegis technology to simulate a real production environment. This affords customers an exceptional learning experience to assist them in launching their own systems, the company said.

To improve customer relationships and tracking meeting effectiveness during deployments, this new facility includes a large meeting center with advanced video conferencing. New Aegis customers are provided a video system for use in their factories as part of Aegis’ continuous improvement of its award winning service. Adjacent to the Training Center, customers can grab a cup of coffee, check email in secure Internet and phone work carrels, call the office, or relax in the Customer Video Lounge, which keeps Aegis customers comfortable and productive during their visit to the Training Center.

“In addition to supplying us with a more modern and spacious workspace, the new headquarters helps us show our customers how to leverage our solutions fully in their manufacturing environment” says Aegis CEO Jason Spera. “It is due to the success our clients are having with our products that we needed to expand in the first place, so we thought we should certainly build them a world-class training and meeting center in our new headquarters.”

Aegis just recently has also opened a brand new headquarter for Europe, situated near the town centre of High Wycombe, United Kingdom, containing an enlarged training center and a new sophisticated video conferencing system. The enlarged training center allows customers greater flexibility in scheduling and attending local trainings while the state-of-the-art multipoint video conferencing system has been deployed to improve communications with customers and between regional offices. The new facility also includes a single global IP phone system enabling easier call control and routing to remote personnel, regional offices and improved conferencing.
