R&D Circuits Opens Singapore Sales and Applications Office

Expanding presence to Asia Pacific region

James V Russell, President of R&D Circuits announced the opening of R&D Circuits new location in Singapore, with Zhou Feng, formerly of LSI, leading the new expansion efforts.

“R&D Circuits Singapore office will provide new support to help address the local needs of its growing customer base as well as support the growing market demand in the Asia-Pacific Region for our expanding product offerings” states Russell. “As we continued to expand our presence in the region, it was becoming apparent we needed to be to able support this customer base locally,” said Russell. “Zhou will play a key role for us in this expansion effort”.

Initial efforts will be dedicated to supporting local sites of present customers, many of whom are based in the US and have a manufacturing presence in the region. “We will also capitalize on Zhou’s expertise in the ATE high-volume test market to develop new sources for our expanded offerings for hardware, as well as the development of new customer relations” continued Russell. “Future expansion plans include applications support for customers in the region, as R&D Circuits deploys new technology to customers for 0.4mm pitch package test as well as some new approaches to contactors”.
