GreenSoft Technology Launches Searchable Database of Environmental Compliance and Component Information

GreenSoft Technology Inc, a provider of environmental compliance content management tools and services for the global electronics industry, announced that it has launched GreenData, a searchable database of environmental compliance and component information. GreenData, a subset of GreenSoft’s component database, can be found at http://data.greensofttech.com/.

"GreenData provides a snapshot of the data we provide to electronics manufacturers,” said Larry Yen, President and CEO of GreenSoft Technology Inc. "Documenting environmental compliance continues to be a concern for manufacturers and we wanted to give people a look at what we can do. You can enter a part number and get an instant result – and if we don’t have the information you need, we will get it quickly.”

The public GreenData database includes parts from over 100 manufacturers, a small fraction of the data from over 5000 vendors worldwide from which GreenSoft collects data. GreenSoft offers a full range of environmental compliance information, including RoHS Certificates of Compliance, lead-free manufacturing data, material composition data, and compliance documents on PFOS/PAHs/Halogen-free/Deca-BDE.

"We encourage people to take us up on our challenge,” said Yen. "Send in a BOM and we’ll let you know what percentage of parts we match. And, of course, if we don’t have it, we’ll go get it for you.”
