Universal Instruments Receives Two Awards From China Electronics News

Universal Instruments announces that its Genesis GC-120Q and AdVantisX platforms had respectively been chosen as recipients of two industry awards – the “2008 Electronics Manufacturing Equipment Customers Most Satisfactory Product Award”, and the “Editor’s Choice Award” presented by China Electronics News at the end of 2008. According to the company, it was the only winner in the pick-and-place category, further establishing its leading position in the China market.

The GC-120Q and AdVantisX platforms were both well-received by manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region following their launch. China Electronics News conducted an annual industry review to assess the performance of different players in certain sectors of the electronics industry every year. Awards will then be determined by a judging panel formed by industry experts and editors of authoritative media and presented to outstanding performers.
