Asymtek, a Nordson company and provider of dispensing, conformal coating, and jetting technologies, announces the recent addition of Soo-Uk (Alex) Nam as Korea’s Regional Sales Manager, and Henry Chang Hian Kwee as the Regional Sales Manager for South East Asia. Both new hires ensure a strong applications and technical support network for customers in Korea and South East Asia, the company said.
In his new role as Regional Sales Manager, Nam is responsible for the sales, service and applications engineering operations of Asymtek’s complete line of dispensing and conformal coating products. Applying his 15 years' experience in the electronics engineering and semiconductor equipment industries, Nam will also focus on market development, managing multi-national accounts, and overseeing the region’s distributor network. Nam received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Computer Science Engineering at Hongik University. He reports to HS Kim, Asymtek Korea’s Senior Regional Sales Manager.
Chang brings over 19 years of extensive working experience in semiconductor engineering and capital equipment sales, most recently at Semiconductor Technologies and Instruments (STI). He is responsible for the sales, service and applications operations in Singapore and Malaysia. Like Nam, Chang’s priority as Regional Sales Manager is to identify new business opportunities that help customers achieve their dispensing goals. Chang earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and received a Masters of Business Administration--with honors--at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Chang reports to NS Ng, South East Asia Business Manager for Asymtek.
"We are fortunate to have Alex and Henry representing Asymtek. Their in-depth knowledge of dispensing technology in the electronics market and experience in the territory are invaluable,” stated Glen Gibbs, General Manager, Asymtek Asia Pacific. "They clearly understand the needs of our customers and the future direction of the industry.”
