Everett Charles Technologies’ CEO Presented to IPC EMS Management Council at APEX

6 April 2009

Everett Charles Technologies announces that John Hartner, its CEO and Chairman of the IPC SMEMA Council Steering Committee, presented successfully to the IPC EMS Management Council at the APEX Conference & Exhibition on Monday March 30, 2009.

At the meeting, Hartner discussed how demand profile is changing rapidly and partners need to respond accordingly to minimize costs to the supply chain. Even during a downturn there are growth opportunities that require quick response. When broad based growth returns, rebuilding capacity effectively will separate winners from losers. Rebuilding involves retraining people on a global scale and not losing industry knowledge.

The presentation focused on encouraging customers to partner with Dover businesses during these tough times. The audience consisted of about 50 EMS presidents predominately of US-based small to mid-sized companies. During the networking portion of the event, Hartner encouraged the EMS companies to visit Dover companies at APEX. He also promoted the company’s value-added service, and gave insight for the company’s future plans.

Plans include a more integrated supply chain, a focus on leadership imperatives, and a concentration on supply chain partners who provide stability, value-added solutions and flexibility.

Senior leaders of PCB manufacturing companies were invited to this exclusive meeting. Before the action began on the show floor, PCB executives from around the world gathered to discuss best practices. Expert speakers and peer networking truly made this a “must attend” event for PCB industry leaders.
