Plantronics Honored as 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards Winner in OEM Hardware Solutions

Plantronics announced it has been selected as a 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards winner in OEM Hardware Solutions, Device Manufacturing. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.
"Plantronics is committed to improving unified communications for end users through audio solutions that deliver great sound quality, ease-of-use and seamless interoperability between any phone and the PC," said Gunjan Bhow, Vice President and General Manager of Unified Communications at Plantronics. Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of nearly 2,000 entrants worldwide. The OEM Hardware Solutions, Device Manufacturing Partner of the Year award recognizes independent hardware vendors or original device manufacturers who deliver superior customer value by designing and developing hardware peripheral and device solutions that use Microsoft technologies.
