Kyzen announces that its applications lab staff recently passed a significant milestone — the evaluation of the one hundred thousandth test card.
According to the company, its applications lab staff has had a very busy year and a half. Final numbers compiled from the various testing done in the facility has topped the historic record for testing set just in 2007. Designing, building, cleaning and inspecting these test boards is a small part of the daily activity in Kyzen’s Nashville World Headquarters, but has a huge impact on the development of cleaning chemistries.
Kyzen said it continuously looks for better solutions to address the ever-changing cleaning challenges presented by its customers. The data generated by such a huge undertaking provides the key information to accomplish this.
"We take our job very seriously,” said Kevin Soucy, Applications Lab Manager. "The information we provide can mean cost savings for our customers and builds the confidence of our industry in knowing our products will perform as promised every time they are used.”
Kyzen added it has the capability to build test vehicles in different configurations with the leading solder paste and flux products, and by using low standoff components. These boards then are cleaned in the latest Kyzen chemistry in different machines, meticulously inspected and graded for cleanliness. The information is stored in the company’s "Know the Score” database where it is accessible to be shared with the company’s sales, technical staff, strategic partners and customers.
