Dell Confirms Launch of Smartphone in China

According to Andrew Bowins, spokesperson of the world's second largest PC maker Dell, the company is jointly developing a mobile phone product with China Mobile.
However, Bowins did not provide local media with details about the type of the mobile phone or the launch time. The information is also confirmed to local media by Rainie Lei, China Mobile's spokesperson in Hong Kong, by saying that Dell's new smartphone, which is called Mini3i, will support application programs in China Mobile's newly launched mobile phone application online store Mobile Market.
According to China Mobile, application programs in its Mobile Market currently can be used in ten types of mobile phones produced by Nokia, Samsung, LG, and Dopod, connecting mobile phone manufacturers, applications developers with China Mobile's users.
