How to Survive the Crisis – Captains of Industry to Discuss this Topic During Productronica 2009

7 October 2009

"Innovations as driving force for surviving the current crisis” will be the topic of the CEO Round Table during productronica on November 10, 2009. The trade fair itself will also focus on this topic. It will feature the traditional podium discussion in a new format this year. The podium discussion will be held for the first time as part of the munich electronics summit, a new event which Messe München will stage every year in future during electronica and productronica. The discussion will be preceded by a keynote address by Dr Ram Charan, said to be one of the world’s leading management and business consultants.

Messe München has acquired the services of the CEOs of six international companies for the podium discussion. They include Dr Ulrich Bez, Chairman and CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda Limited; Dr Ram Charan, Advisor, Speaker and CEO Coach and Director of Austin Industries and The Six Sigma Academy; Joe Donahue, President Global Automotive Division of Tyco Electronics Ltd; Günter Lauber, CEO of Siemens Electronic Assembly Systems GmbH & Co KG; Andre Papoular, CEO of Assembléon BV; and Dr Sehat Sutardja, Chairman, President and CEO of Marvell Semiconductor Inc.

The discussions will be chaired by Dr Jürgen Gromer, a member of the Supervisory Board and former President of Tyco Electronics. Dr Charan will also examine the above-mentioned topic during his keynote speech and describe the importance of innovations in relation to the current economic crisis.
