Molex Wins Huawei's Global Core Partner Award for 2009

Molex Incorporated announced that it has received the prestigious Core Partner Award for superior performance as a global supplier from China's Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, a leading provider of next generation telecommunications networks. At an award ceremony held at Huawei's corporate headquarters in Shenzhen, Molex was recognized for its innovative technology, quality, responsiveness and delivery of its interconnect products and services.

According to Molex, of the more than one thousand suppliers that Huawei works with each year, Molex was one of only 75 companies to receive the Core Partner Award this year. The award is bestowed upon companies that consistently deliver high performance and quality products that meet Huawei's stringent requirements for its product portfolio, which includes mobile, broadband, core network, transmission network, data communication, terminals, storage and network security, and value-added applications and software.

Earlier in April 2009, Molex received Huawei's "Best Technical Support" Award for 2008 for outstanding technical, sales and customer service support to the Huawei R&D team.
