Christopher Associates to Introduce Ultrasonic Robotic Soldering Solution at Photovoltaic Technology Show

20 January 2010

Christopher Associates announced that it will introduce Japan Unix Co Ltd’s Unisonik Ultrasonic Robotic Soldering System at Photon's upcoming 5th Photovoltaic Technology Show. The event, said to be the leading venue for photovoltaic manufacturing technologies in North America, is scheduled to take place from February 2-4, 2010 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA.

Fluxless soldering has been a goal in many industrial applications for years. According to Christopher Associates, the ultrasonic robotic soldering system offers a complete suite of new capabilities for high-technology manufacturing. Solder on glass and heretofore difficult surfaces now can be done cost effectively and with enhanced interconnect reliability.

Since its establishment in 1974, Japan Unix Co Ltd has grown into a comprehensive manufacturer of soldering equipment. The company provides a diverse range of products, including soldering iron tips, heaters, soldering tools, and robotic soldering systems.
