Essemtec to Feature Placement Machine for Small to Middle-Sized Production Volumes at Nepcon China 2010

Essemtec announces that it will introduce the PANTERA–XV SMD placement machine at the upcoming Nepcon China/EMT China 2010 exhibition and conference - scheduled to take place April 20-22, 2010 in Shanghai, China.

According to the company, the new PANTERA–XV SMD placement machine is designed to directly address prototyping and production runs in middle-sized quantities. It is the culmination of two placement machines - the FLX2010 and the CSM7100-V, combining the best from both machine "families”.

Essemtec will also introduce its semiautomatic SMT Prototyping System, EXPERT at the show. According to the company, small batches and prototypes of SMD assembled boards can be mounted fast and accurate using this pick-and-place system. The pick-and-place head is air suspended, moves gently and ergonomic allowing a fast and accurate work.
