Shocking Technologies Opens Asia Sales Office

Shocking Technologies Inc, a developer of next generation electrostatic discharge protection solutions, announces the opening of their Asia sales office in Singapore on April 8, 2010, and that Kim Soon Ong will join the company as Senior Director Asia Sales.

Ong is an industry veteran with more than 25 years experience managing business in Asia. He will work closely with the company's customers and representatives in Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan to achieve design wins and generate revenue, following strong interest and demand from North Asia. Ong will also support our USA and European customers in their Asia operations together with PCB suppliers.

"Mr Ong has a very long and deep knowledge of the cell phone and communications industry in Asia and in particular Korea and greater China. We are very excited to have Mr Ong on the Shocking Team,” said Kenneth Engestang, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Biz Dev.
