LPKF Premiers New Laser System at SMT Nuremberg 2010

LPKF celebrated the world premiere of its LPKF MicroLine 1000 S at SMT Nuremberg. According to the company, the compact UV laser system LPKF MicroLine 1000 S cuts assembled PCBs to any shape. A laser source is designed specifically for cutting organic substrates at a high output rate. It conforms to manufacturing laser class 1 and is designed for mass production - even with large product variations.
"Our focus is on laser micromachining – in very different fields. With LPKF putting so much effort into new developments and improvements to laser systems, we have worked hard for a strong market position,” Dr Ingo Bretthauer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at LPKF Laser & Electronics AG, comments on his company’s new development successes. With this LPKF continues the previous year’s development efforts, the highlight of which was being honored with the Hermes Award for the laser direct structurer LPKF Fusion3D at the Hannover Fair 2010.
