BTU International Appoints Global Service Manager

2 September 2010

BTU International, a supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, announced the appointment of Bruce Quigley as Global Service Manager.

Quigley comes to BTU with an extensive background in managing customer support organizations around the world. Prior to accepting the position with BTU, Quigley was Customer Service Manager for a large US-based capital equipment supplier. In addition to his management experience, Quigley has held challenging technical roles in field service and applications engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Assumption College.

"We are pleased to have Bruce as the new leader of our expanding customer support team. Working from both our US and Shanghai facilities, Bruce will be responsible for our entire global service organization,” said Jim Griffin, Vice President Sales and Service for BTU International.

"I'm very excited about this opportunity to work with BTU's global customers and customer support team. We look forward to strengthening, even further, the coordinated approach to global service excellence provided by BTU,” said Quigley. "The combination of this strategic global program and the outstanding quality built into BTU equipment will further enhance customer satisfaction with the BTU experience.”
