Digitaltest and iTAC Software Join Technology and Distribution Channels

Digitaltest has announced its close cooperation with iTAC Software AG, who integrates Digitaltest's C-Link CAD/CAM Viewer into its cross-industry manufacturing execution system (MES). The MES software is used to optimize throughput, control and transparency in applications such as electronic device manufacturing.

According to the companies, the CAD/CAM Viewer C-Link will boost the repair and diagnostic functionality of iTAC's MES software suite by displaying the printed board layout and related schematics. The broad range of Digitaltest's interfaces to most CAD/CAM formats ensures smooth integration into all major production environments.

Cooperation between the two companies however doesn't end here. Digitaltest GmbH is now iTAC's distribution partner and it will be integrating iTAC's MES software suite in its operational lines of business.

Commenting on the new cooperation, Dieter Meuser, Chief Technology Officer of iTAC Software AG, said: "We are glad to have Digitaltest as business partner.
