DEK Appoints Six Sigma Expert as New Business Unit Manager

DEK has announced the appointment of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt-certified Smith Hou to the position of Business Unit Manager. The highly experienced new recruit is charged with enhancing operations efficiency at the screen printing specialist.

According to DEK, Smith brings with him over 15 years' experience as an Operations Manager, having worked at several Fortune 500 companies. DEK's new Business Unit Manager has spent his career leading on many Lean Six Sigma projects, driving exceptional results spanning cost reductions, process optimization, quality improvements and space savings.

Commenting on his appointment, Smith explains, "I'm delighted to be joining the highly-experienced team at DEK, a company which is pioneering in its approach to lean and other progressive manufacturing ideologies.
