DEK to Launch New Stencil Coating Technology Through Webinar

13 January 2011

DEK is preparing to launch its Nano-ProTek 'fluxophobic' stencil coating technology through an exclusive webinar, being held on 15th February 2011. The company will highlight the new technology's ability to increase cleaning effectiveness and reduce cleaning frequency, the Nano-ProTek webinar will accommodate both Chinese and English speakers.

Being run by a team of DEK process technology experts, the Nano-ProTek webinar will demonstrate how the new release uses a proprietary formula to render the entire stencil surface completely fluxophobic in seconds. The forthcoming webinar will show how DEK has risen to the challenges of decreasing aperture sizes to overcome associated issues such as elevated cleaning frequency, increased risk of defects and increased consumables cost. DEK added that webinar participants will discover the result is an easy-to-apply, value-driven technology.

Commenting on the Nano-ProTek launch, DEK President, Michael Brianda, explains: "Nano-ProTek is a unique, proprietary, fluxophobic technology that dramatically increases cleaning effectiveness and reduces cleaning frequency to drive unprecedented first pass yield – a major production advantage. However, an even greater production advantage lies in its ability to deliver all this in a simple wipe! It's an important breakthrough – not just for DEK and our customers, but for the industry as a whole. I’m looking forward to introducing Nano-ProTek at the launch webinar which promises to be a highly effective forum in which to demonstrate the benefits of the new technology. What's more, we’ll have a team of product experts guiding participants through the seminar online. Several DEK experts will also be available for a live question and answer session following the presentation, enabling participants to discover exactly how Nano-ProTek could work for their business."

DEK has set up a simple online registration form that can be accessed by anyone interested in attending the webinar. There, participants can select the seminar slot best suited to their requirements. Once registered, participants will be sent log-in instructions in advance and will not require additional software to take part.
