ProWorks, a division of Everett Charles Technologies, announces that the ProWorks Work Instruction Software now supports the latest in portable tablet technologies, including the iPad.
"The added capability for technicians, engineers and managers to remotely access ProWorks demonstrates our continuing commitment to quickly embracing new hardware technologies," said Candace Benson, ProWorks Global Product Manager. "The ability to see what is happening on the factory floor in real-time can be very valuable when making decisions in today's fast-paced environments."
"With the iPad, Quality Control Managers can instantly pull up failure and corrective action data during a meeting, and Production Supervisors can clearly understand the status of each and every work order in process as they move from meeting to meeting throughout the day. We listened to our customers and immediately provided this additional interface," added Benson.
