Electrolube announces that it is carrying its success of last year into 2011 with plans to expand on its sales figures and growth. The company ended 2010 on a high with record sales results and new investments, which has allowed the company to position itself for continued growth in the future.
The biggest investment of 2010 was the world headquarters and UK factory moving to buildings in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. The 62,000 square foot site is considerably larger than the last premises allowing Electrolube to expand the business and grow to meet the demand of its customers.
Electrolube reported a 22 percent growth in turnover for the UK and 21 percent for Europe on the previous financial year. The strategy of becoming involved in growth markets and maintaining a presence for local customers in each country has proved to be right, the company said.
Ron Jakeman, Electrolube Managing Director said: "2010 really was a remarkable year for the company. There were so many success stories, from the new headquarters, to the sales growth and new product launches; we really did surpass our high expectations. In addition to a clear strategy, this success is above all attributable to the untiring efforts of our committed employees. With a clear focus on the customer, it is they who are responsible for promoting the future of the electro-chemicals industry."
"Electrolube will continue to place itself as leaders in its field and will carry on its success of 2010 with plans to gear the company even more intensively to profitable growth, with concentration on product expansion and customer development," Jakeman added.
