Essemtec Asia Founded in Singapore

In November 2010, Essemtec Switzerland has founded its new central office for the Asian market in Singapore. Essemtec Asia will operate as a regional hub that coordinates customer requests with the local business partners throughout Asia.

The goal is to better understand and meet the needs of the local Asian electronics market and to provide tailored solutions. Therefore, Essemtec Asia works as a hub that coordinates customer requests with the local partners in Asia.

Essemtec said its Swiss quality high precision product portfolio is well positioned to serve the semiconductor and surface mount assembly markets in Asia. The company delivers complete turnkey solutions from one source with printers, dispensers, assembly machines and reflow ovens. The product range also includes storage systems, transport modules, and software for production planning and control.

Essemtec added that the recently introduced placement machines Paraquda and Cobra are especially interesting for Asian electronics manufacturers. These machines combine flexibility with high throughput and short setup time and they feature the innovative user interface software ePlace. Cobra is suitable for SMT assembly, semiconductor manufacturing and special applications.
