Heller Industries to Demonstrate KIC’s Software at IPC APEX Expo

KIC announces that Heller Industries will highlight its Auto-Focus Power software for reflow ovens at the upcoming IPC APEX Expo. The event is scheduled to take place April 12-14, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA.

According to KIC, this next-generation thermal process optimization system "googles" available oven recipes and automatically selects the optimum process for individual applications. The standard Auto-Focus automatically selects the recipe that positions the process in the center of the process window or, alternatively, the fastest throughput.

The new, advanced Auto-Focus Power software product adds a third optimization criterion, namely by selecting the recipe that yields lower energy consumption. KIC added that third-party research has verified the ability of the Auto-Focus Power option to reduce energy consumption. This key feature results in significant cost savings in today’s environment of increasing energy prices.
