Electrolube announced that it has received approval from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for its NVOC coating. The NVOC coating has received UL listing for use on recognised printed wiring boards (UL database number QMJU2.E342110).
Amanda Stuart, Electrolube's Development Chemist said: "The UL approval for the NVOC coating further illustrates our commitment to a greener future and our dedication to researching and developing VOC-free products. Receiving UL approval is an important and exciting step in that direction."
NVOC has been specifically designed to eliminate the use of volatile organic solvents in the conformal coating process, with minimal changes to processing parameters.
