Multitest Increases Burn-In Test Capacity

Multitest announces that its burn-in product team recently successfully supported an international integrated device manufacturer to significantly increase its burn-in capacity by more than one third.

According to Multitest, it began the project with a profound assessment of the application and its effects on the burn-in process. Based on this analysis, the company determined the appropriate material to match the requested density increase on the boards. Additionally, Multitest engineered design methodologies to address signal speeds, current draw and distribution to ensure that the true burn-in requirements of the application were met.

As a final step, Multitest developed a board quality control strategy in cooperation with the customer.
