Nihon Superior Wins Suita Industry Award

Nihon Superior Co Ltd was recently honored with a 2011 Suita Industry Award. The award was presented to the company during a ceremony on May 7, 2011 at the main theater in the Suita Cultural Hall as part of the 28th Suita Industrial fair.

In his opening remarks, Shigehiro Teranishi, President of the Suita Industrial Fair, declared, "We would like to dedicate this fair to those affected by the earthquake and tsunami by sending our warm thoughts and cheers."

The Suita Industry Award was presented to representatives from four manufacturers in Suita City that best exemplify Monodzukuri. The winners of the Suita Industry Award are selected for effectively using advanced technology to produce high quality products at low costs and providing prompt delivery.

The Japanese word, Monodzukuri, combines two words that together mean "the process of making things," but in Japanese culture it has associations that go far beyond that to encompass enthusiastically striving for excellence and pride in making quality products that benefit mankind.

The Suita Industry Award was established this year by Suita City to promote industrial recovery. Representatives of the city selected top manufacturers from amongst small and medium-sized companies whose home offices are located in Suita City.
