VJ Electronix Appoints New Software Engineer

2 August 2011

VJ Electronix, Inc announces that Hirdeepsinh Vansia has joined its engineering team.

Based in Littleton, MA, USA, Hirdeepsinh is the company's newest software engineer. In this position, he is involved in the development of analog circuits for measuring the intensity of pulsed x-ray sources and the integration of digital x-ray detector software routines into VJ Electronix's proprietary software - NEXUS 300. Currently, he is working on defect detection filters to be used during image processing of x-ray images.

"Hirdeep's addition to our software team is instrumental in the expansion of our flat panel technology. His work to fully integrate this imaging technology into our proprietary NEXUS 300 software platform will provide our medical, military, automotive and electronics customer base with the capability to combine high resolution, high speed, high contrast 14 or 16 bit imaging for production and/or failure analysis applications. A 200+ mm field of view will enable customers to view complex assemblies in a single view. Additionally, Hirdeep has provided refinements to NEXUS 300 off-axis inspection analysis of through-hole connectors and has optimized our double-sided component masking, enabling a low-cost 3D inspection alternative," commented Frank Cosentino, X-Ray Product Manager.

Vansia graduated from the State University of New York, Stony Brook in December 2009 with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. At Stony Brook, he was a Research Assistant at CEWIT. He brings a great deal of experience in the development of algorithms and test experiments for the localization of wireless embedded systems. His research also led to the exposure of stochastic processes and pattern recognition.
