Introducing CircuitMedic

16 July 2006

CircuitMedic, a new brand and family of products and technology for circuit board repair, has been launched. Circuit Medic is the new family grouping of products and materials developed over the course of many years at the Circuit Technology Center in Haverhill, Massachusetts, a recognized authority in circuit board rework and repair technology and services industry-wide. Circuit Technology Center developed and contributed many of the procedures standardized in the globally-recognized industry standard IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.

In making the announcement, Jeff Ferry, President, said, “Many of our new CircuitMedic family of repair kits and individual products will be immediately recognizable, especially to those who have come to use, trust, and rely on them over the years. What we’ve done is brought together individual components into practical kits that logically fit together and complement one another, such as our CircuitMedic Gold Contact Repair Kit and our base Board Repair Kit.”

CircuitMedic kits include the Conductor Repair kit, for repairing damaged circuits, lands, surface mount pads, and gold edge contacts; the Plated Hole Repair kit, with eyelets, eyelet systems, and tools to repair damaged plated holes; the Base Board Repair kit, for the repair of burns and defects in the base board and masks; the ECO/Rework kit, which includes self-sticking solder paste stencils and Tape Dots for bonding jumper wires; plus practice kits for soldering, rework and repair, and more.
