Rohm and Haas Increases Price for Packaging Adhesives in Asia Pacific

Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants business will implement an 8-10% price increase for all polyester, polyurethane and acrylic polymer products sold to the packaging and converting industries in Asia Pacific. The increase will apply to all prices and will take effect from August 1, 2006, or as contracts allow.
This action is necessitated by the continued escalation in raw material costs, including record high prices for some key raw materials, as well as freight and energy costs.
